Provisional Membership

To apply for Provisional Membership, an applicant must:

• Be under the age of 40.
• Meet a production/income standard that is at least 50% of that required for full Active Membership.
• Have been in the industry for at least three years.
• Be a member in good standing of Advocis.
• Be recommended, in writing, by three current Active Members of CALU, with supporting commentary and commendation that clearly indicates the applicant is developing his or her practice to specialize in the area of advanced life underwriting. Qualify as an Active member after being a Provisional Member for two full calendar years and/or attendance at two CALU annual meetings.
