CALU's mandate, as a conference of Advocis, is to maintain a constructive dialogue with governments concerning advanced life underwriting issues, many of which are tax-related, and to provide a professional development forum for members as well as other professionals in the financial services field who share an interest in, and appreciation of, the contemporary and valuable applications of life insurance and related financial products to the economic well-being of Canadians.
